Carly Collins, PT, DPT, CKTP
Hi, I’m Dr. Carly Collins. I attended Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York where I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania for undergraduate, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also played on the women’s soccer team as a center back during my time at ESU, missing one year for a medical red shirt as I recovered from an ACL reconstruction. I have worked in orthopedics for 3 years and am currently also working as a physical therapist in the New York City Department of Education, helping children with special needs. I am a Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner.
I believe that physical therapy affords individuals the opportunity to be independent and to return to their previous level of function pain-free. As a team, we will work together to find the source of your pain and conquer it, in order to achieve your personal goals. Being on “the other side” as a patient, I can relate to the pain of injury and feeling limited in my day to day activities. I have used those experiences to help patients develop a plan of care and achieve their goals. I have worked with a variety of individuals, ranging from a collegiate athlete to a weekend warrior or casual stroller.
When I am not treating patients, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love being an aunt to my niece and nephews. I love to spend my free time working out, lounging on the beach, and binge watching new shows on Netflix. I am also a coffee lover and crazy USWNT fan willing to rep my Ertz or Wambach jersey any day!
Meet the rest of the team:
Hi, I’m Dr. Zach Getz. I believe strongly in the human body’s ability to adapt and to heal if given the right environment. My goal is to give you the tools you need to succeed, and to be your guide along the path to recovery.
As a physical therapist, my goal is to help my patients achieve independence and higher functioning as quickly as possible. I believe that the road to health and recovery is best done by viewing the individual as a whole person with unique goals and limitations.
Holly is Gotham PT’s office coordinator, which means she’s busy all the time! She answers the phone, takes care of all the scheduling, handles questions about prescriptions and insurance, and does it all with a smile. She’ll be the first person you meet when you come in and the last person to take care of you when you leave.
