Dr. Caitlin Casella, PT, DPT

Hello, I’m Dr. Caitlin Casella. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College. After a 14 year career teaching yoga and mentoring yoga teachers, I transitioned into other systems of holistic movement, somatics, strength and conditioning. Through this evolution, I experienced firsthand how beneficial strength training can be—not only on a physical level—but mentally, for emotional stability, pain management, and confidence to do more in life.

I operate from an antifragile stance, one that views the human body as robust, adaptable, and resilient. I believe in our abilities to build capacity and develop new skills through knowledge of self and interaction with our environments and communities. I’m here to provide you with the education and tools necessary to own your recovery and meet your goals.

I’m originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and have called New York City home for over 20 years. In my spare time you’ll find me cooking, seeking out the best food, coffee, and live music this city has to offer, and walking just about everywhere I go.

Meet the rest of the team:
